Welcome to the Town of Menomonie. Menomonie is a town in Dunn County, Wisconsin, United States. Population of 3561 according to the 2020 Census. The township surrounds the City of Menomonie and includes the village of Irvington.

REQUEST FOR CHIP SEAL BID

The Town of Menomonie-Dunn County is seeking chip sealing bids for the following road:  

410^th Street from 490^th Ave to Hofland Rd – 1.17 mile by 20 feet.

• Sealed Bids are due at 6:00 pm on Tuesday May 14^th, 2024.
• Bids will be opened and be awarded at the Town Board meeting Tuesday May 14^th, 2024, at 6pm at location E4055 550^th Ave Menomonie WI 54751
• The contractor must supply the town with proof of insurance.
• The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
• There is a completion deadline for all projects of September 13, 2024
• Hot Oil Full Width Chip Seal & Spot Patch Sealing
• The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, and equipment to sign work zone.
• Existing surfaces must be cleaned with a power broom to remove dirt, clay, or other debris.
• Cold Mix Hand Patching is required on all roads where needed.
• PG 58-28 5% Cut Back Liquid Asphalt blended at a State of Wisconsin and ASSHTO certified liquid asphalt production facility: furnished, heated to 350 degrees F and applied in a single pass up to 24 feet wide.
• Cover aggregate to be used is a 3/8” Dark Granite Fractured Chip.
• *Sample of Cover aggregate to be submitted to the Town prior to Bid Letting.
• –A Project form must be completed with the bid.

Project 1 – 670^th Avenue from Wilson St to termini – 0.68 miles by 20 feet.   

Project 2 – 495^th Street/496^th Street 495^th Street – From 496^th St to termini – 0.50 mile.  496^th Street – From CTH BB to termini – 0.14 miles
